An associate member is a person who is a member of the Protea Video Club, but has only partial rights and partial privileges.

Any person interested to join the Protea Video Club as an associate member can do so under the following terms and conditions:

• Need to reside at least 100 km from Somerset West. Exceptions may be considered.

• May attend club meetings in Somerset West.

• No membership fee - refreshment fee will apply when attending a meeting in Somerset West.

• May attend virtual meetings - must be familiar with Zoom.

• Cannot vote on any club matters.

• May not serve on the committee.

 

Associate members may participate in all club activities that are open to members. This includes:

• submit own videos for members to watch during a club meeting under the same conditions as videos from members (max 15 minutes duration)

• these videos will be uploaded onto our YouTube channel

• access to the Protea Video Club’s website which will allow them access to our documents on Google Drive

• do presentations to members at meetings or via internet

• participate in club competitions and projects
